As a consulting and software specialist for the optimization of business processes, CENIT has been active in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) since 1988. We work for globally renowned companies in the automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, tool and mold making, financial services, retail and consumer goods sectors. The work style in our company is characterized by short information paths, a flat hierarchy and a simple, cooperative interaction with each other.

Your tasks
If you would like to join us as a Software Developer, these should spark your interest:
- Develop applications that help customers drive their business. Here your willingness to learn and apply new technologies will be key to your successful integration in our team.
- Work together with our team in an agile process. To achieve our shared goals, you have to collaborate closely with the team and you must be able to work independently as well.
- Learn about new technologies and evaluate how they can be incorporated in our applications, respectively find creative solutions for implementation.
- Embrace a quality-oriented mindset, while a documentation-driven-development as well as test-driven-development come naturally to you. Our customers trust us to deliver products they can use for their business-critical processes.
Your profile
We look for a motivated and eager to learn colleague that:
- Has completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a related field (Bachelor / Master);
- Has knowledge of object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms;
- Has experience or interest in learning techologies such as Python, small language models for local execution, and JavaScript-based UI development;
- Has experience in service-based implementations, which would be considered a plus;
- Is proficient with agile methods, documentation-driven-development, test-driven-development, continuous integration, deployment and delivery and pair programming;
- Demonstrates a strong will and ability to learn and quickly apply new or unfamiliar technologies;
- Is self-organized, structured and a good communicator and has high awareness of software quality;
- Is fluent in English (written and verbal) with a good ability to communicate ideas and concepts in a clear way. German skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
